Rachel Stern MAJE/MAJCS grew up in San Antonio. In addition to receiving her BA from the University of Missouri, she attended Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion's Los Angeles campus and was awarded masters degrees in Jewish Education and Jewish Communal Service. Rachel has experience in the Jewish federation world as a Community Jewish Educator, as a Synagogue Education Director and as the Director of Outreach Education and Supervisor of Clinical Learning at HUC-JIR in Cincinnati, OH. Rachel served as an Education Consultant to the ISJL (Institute of Southern Jewish Life) beginning in 2004 and accepted the position of Education Department Director in 2006. Rachel and her husband Scott are parents to Gabe, Lainey, Maddie, and Charlie.
